JAIPUR:
As the blasts rocked Bangalore, a high alert was sounded across Rajasthan, which
is still recovering from the blow of the May 13 terror attack on
Jaipur.
Security around
sensitive places in Jaipur and other tourists hubs, including Ajmer, Udaipur and
Jodhpur, has been beefed up.
After noticing striking
similarities between the Bangalore blasts and Jaipur serial blasts, the state
government decided to rush a police team to Bangalore to take stock of the
incident. Nine blasts in Jaipur on May 13 killed 68 people and left more than
150 injured.
"We have alerted
all police stations and security has been beefed up at all the sensitive places
across the state," state home secretary S N Thanvi told TOI.
